this blog to learn to make money online. In the past few
posts, I've spoke of a couple of business models that are used
to make money online. Now I want to dive a little deeper into
my favorite model for online business…information products!
The business model is pretty basic…
1. Do some research and find out what the market really wants. This can be done in forums, by checking questions in yahoo answers and even by seeing what other marketers are selling. You don't have to reinvent the wheel to make money. Just take action by selling a info product that wallets for.
2. Inside these ebooks, you can and by all means should place appropriate affiliate links. This is especially effective if it's a needed resource, such as with a domain, hosting and autoresponder link.
3. Do what it takes to add value to your offer, create it in different mediums and offer it to your customers as a free bonus. Depending on your main offer, these extras can also come as expert interviews or even website templates.
4. Build up a team of affiliates promoting your ebook. Give your affiliates everything that they could possiby need to start promoting your ebook, especially content for there autoresponders. Remember, your affiliates and jv partners are sending you high quality traffic, so make there lives as easy as possible.
5. Decide what you're willing to pay your affiliates. What is the percentage of the sale that you will give them. You can make this anywhere from 50% up to 100%. The more your affiliates make per sale will literally determine how many times they will email there list with your offer.
Don't be afraid of this, because as your paying out the commissions to your affiliates, your building a customer list were you can sell your second ebook, third ebook…basically you have a customer for life as long as you treat them well.
6. Rinse and repeat…
Now that you have a sales funnel in place, your email customer list, and an army of affiliates your all set to make all the money you can handle from your online business. With this type of model in place, you will reap a snowball effect. You will eventually have a customer base of thousands waiting for the release of your next ebook.

I’ve been down the road you’re about to travel, and I have some very important tips that I’d like to share with you. We’re going to talk about how to build a successful online business. In particular, we’re going to talk about things you should know.
The most important thing you NEED to know is what you want to accomplish with your online business. This might strike you as simple and obvious — but it’s not.
There are so many people who wake up and decide they want to make a bunch of money online yet they don’t have the first clue about what they really want to accomplish. Grab a piece of paper and a pencil. Write down EXACTLY what you want to accomplish.
If you want to make a bunch of money, that’s fine — but you need to come up with an exact amount. You have to be specific, like “I want to make $100 a day in the next 90 days”.
Also, you have to have a plan. You can’t wander around the internet aimlessly buying every “get rich quick” program that you come across. Pick a business model and stick to it.
The second step is to develop a daily schedule that will help you accomplish your online business goals in the shortest amount of time possible.
I’ll be the first to admit that I hated the idea of setting a schedule for myself. It reminded me too much of work. I mean, I already have a day job. This is supposed to be at my leisure, right?
Wrong!
If it’s one thing that you should know about running a successful online business is that if you treat it like a hobby than it will reward you like a hobby. If you treat it like a business than eventually your hard work will pay off and you’ll get rewarded and it will pay you like a business.
Trust me I’ve been there. But after a while of not really getting anything done, I buckled down and came up with a schedule. This is something you MUST do if you want to be successful.
You have to learn to manage your time. I mean really manage it, create a daily to do list and get it done.
Finally, you need to realize that building a successful online business is going to require that you spend some money. It doesn’t have to be a lot of money, but you need to get it through your head that an investment is going to be required.
You can’t expect to be in business without budgeting some money for things, the very least would be hosting and a domain. I know you can get a free hosted wordpress or blogger account, but in order to be taken seriously you need to host your sites yourself.
Those are the things you need to know if you want to build a successful online business. Ignore them at your own risk. I did, and saw that I wasn’t really getting the results I wanted. Once I started doing what I just described above, everything changed for the better.
Go ahead, follow my advice. You’ll be glad you did.
P.S. Put your goals and dreams on paper and go for it. Dream it, believe it , and you can achieve it.
